No smart meter yet, and no chance of having one fitted this side of July, plus the meter is outside the house some 15 metres away from the inverter, so a long cable run from the Clamp back to the F3600 in the loft

I have two CUs in the following configuration

Ring and lights etc > 1st CU > Tails ...

Can the Clamp go either side of the generation meter (emlite type) as in:

F3600 > clamp > isolator > meter > Isolator > CU

or

F3600 > Isolator > meter > CT clamp > Isolator > CU

Can I use any type of CT clamp with my F3600, or does it have to be the Fox specific device?

The F series is a solar only inverter (no battery) and so it outputs everything to the house which will be used up by any house load and if there is any surplus it will go to export.


Should I ignore the app when it notes the generated power is going to the grid and not load? For example ...

Hi, I’ve recently inherited this solar PV and I do not have a clue.

At present, I have no tariff in place to sell (if it’s worth selling) back to the grid, no smart meter and no idea! From what I’ve read, I do not have the CT, just Panels, Fox and Meter.
