Power flow values sometimes don't add up
There are times when the power flow values don't add up properly.

PV=0.69kW
Battery=2.74kW
Grid=0.16kW
Total Power Supplied=3.59kW
Load=3.16kW
That's a discrepency of over 400W!
Re: Power flow values sometimes don't add up
The difference will be the DC (Battery) DC (Solar) being converted into AC for your load.
There are always losses in the conversion of DC-AC or AC-DC (if charging battery from mains)

The inverter and the battery (BMS) also need energy, and doesn't show up I think in the system values directly.
Re: Power flow values sometimes don't add up
There's no way that can be due to conversion efficiencies. That would be a loss of over 10% which is way over the specifications. Also the discrepancy only happens occasionally, most of the time they add up correctly.
Re: Power flow values sometimes don't add up
Most likely data artefacts, the samples are only taken every 5 minutes and changes in load, PV etc.. can all happen which won't be represented in the sensor data.

You can get nearer real time using modbus and home assistant but even then the sample rate will be 6 seconds which can still lead to discrepancies - the power flow is meant as a guide, the daily statistics are much better at seeing power over time.
Re: Power flow values sometimes don't add up
If we write down the correct values from your picture, there is exactly 400W that is missing from the sums.

Load = 3160W

Grid = 156W (3004W)
PV = 694W (2310W)
Bat = 2710W (-400W)

And yes, you are correct, this gives over 10% lost somewhere, which does seem a little higher than is expected.

Now I have checked my own values in the past, and I had a difference of xxxW usually around 150-200W in the numbers. So exactly the same as you are reporting, missing power, which is from converting AC/DC, DC/AC. I had the firmwares updated recently, and checking the v1 / v2 websites and my phone all give exactly 0W sums now, so one can only guess that maybe they have corrected the numbers to reflect the input and output to balance to 0W.

So maybe you have some firmware bug that needs squashing?
