Hi All, apologies in advance if this has been covered.
We had our system installed a few weeks ago. A few days ago we updated the battery through the 2.2.6 app.
Ever since, we have not been able to Force Charge our battery during scheduled times, although the app states that it is charging when monitoring. Nothing is being drawn from the grid to charge the battery. The battery and solar setup are working as normal.
I did try to use the Cloud Interface to set the Grid Charging Times (doesn't appear to be in the app), but that always results in a 44098 Write Fail.
I've also repowered the system, and my internet router.
Everything has been updated on the Battery system, which is a 10-5-H.
Any help would be appreciated.
Recent firmware updates have been over-writing the Import and Export power limits of the inverter, if it is showing as charging but isn't, then it is very likely your ImportLimitPwr has been reset - there is a video here that lets you check and set this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eCiTwpcwQo - watch it from 8:20 seconds which shows how to do set it at the inverter panel.
The video will show the ImportLimits being set, which you can do by going to your inverters panel, go into settings (password 0,0,0,0), then choose on-grid, export control
There will likely be 2 settings in there for Import Limits, it’s helpful at this stage to know what your incoming main fuse size is (usually 80 or 100A), if we assume 80A, the setting ImportLimitCur should be set to 80A, and the setting ImportLimitPwr can be set to 18,400 watts i.e. (ImportLimitPwr = Volts{230} * Fuse Rating)
EDIT: Sorry just noted that you have an EVO system which doesn’t let you get to those settings, other EVO users have experienced the same thing and have had to contact Fox service to get a ‘special’ firmware update that allows charging.
They have noted that raising the minSoC does allow some charging albeit slowly - this post refers to that journey https://foxesscommunity.com/viewtopic. ... 334#p14334

Hiya,
In any case thanks for the feedback. I did learn a few things
I've got it to the state of 1kw charging and created a ticket with Fox.
Regards,
Veeti

same problem.....and we found (in the inverter menu) that the forced charging was set to manual....no idea why as it had worked the day before!
resetting this allowed forced charging times to be set again

Fox support dialled in and appear to have reverted my INV_Master to 0.40.
Now getting 3kw charge, which works for me.
All credit to their support for doing it within 24hrs.

The 0.xx versions are beta, and if the results are good, then they will bake a new 1.xx release version.
Confusing aren't they!
Glad you are getting some better charge rates, shame they released the firmware half-baked.
