Disable Grid Export
Hi All

Nothing wrong with the system and all fine but...

For a reason I can't diclose ATM, I would like to know if it is possible to disable all Exporting to Grid.

This means that when the battries are full and theres excess energy being created, I don't want to export any and ideally automatcally turn the export off. If that were possble, would it damage the system in any way?

Thanks

Not sure about all the cloak and dagger stuff there :?:

If you have Home Assistant connected to your Inverter, then you absolutely should be able to adjust the export down to 0W. This gives you more control to turn it on/off or up and down using automations if you want to control exports during times of the day etc.

You can also go directly to the inverter and set 0W export limit, but that then will be 24/7.
Re: Disable Grid Export
Can't say much atm but will reveal the reason depending on the outcome.

How do I get to that setting, I can't find that anywhere in the app 😞

Cheers

Re: Disable Grid Export
Picture is from Home Assistant, so you probably don't have that.

Other way as said, would be to do it directly on the Inverter, but you have to adjust it when you want to start/stop export manually.

Okidoke, will take a look, thanks.

Re: Disable Grid Export
You could have look at mode scheduler set an all day self use schedule with export limit set to 0W.
Never tried the setting, so can't say if it would work.

Good shout, I forgot about the new options.

To OP: This could be firmware dependant, as the features are not always visible, and you have to use the FoxCloud2.0 App to expose the new settings if available.
