Hi everyone. I'm looking for some advice - again! I've had my system since August 24 (spec below) and am generally delighted with it.

I haven't bothered using the mode scheduler until recently, mostly because we're quite high energy users and we generally hit 10% before the day is out. So up until now I have just used the basic charge settings to fill the battery overnight.

Now that summer is here - and I do have some spare capacity at the end of the day - I thought I would set the mode scheduler to force discharge for an hour at night, and then charge the battery afterwards (I'm on Octopus Intelligent Go). The force discharge bit worked fine, but but the battery didn't then charge.

Having tried again this morning, I noticed what the problem is.

When I first set the force charge settings in the mode scheduler, everything looks fine - here I set the max SOC to 100%. However, when I then close the app and come back to it, the 'max SOC' option has disappaeard. I have attached two screen shots - the first shows that I see immediately after I have set the force charge - the max SOC setting is highlighted.

The second screen shot shows what happens when I close the app and re-open it - the max SOC option has disappeard, hence the battery not charging. The same thing happens in Energy Stats.

The scond issue I've had with the mode scheduler is that it seems to have thrown out my EV charging schedule! I've had a 7kw Zappi charger for about a month, which is set to charge my car from 11:30PM - 5:30AM - to coincide with the octopus go cheap rate. Last night it started charging early (about 10:00). It has never done this before (I charge it evey night), and the only difference this time was that I had enabled the mode scheduler on the Fox app, as per the screen grab. I read somewhere that fox systems can interfere with Zappi chargers, so if anyone has any tips on that, I would appreciate it!

thanks in advnace for you help and sorry for the long message. system spec is below, screen shots attached.

It may well be firmware that is causing this, the MaxSoC option was added to scheduler but it needed a certain level of firmware on the system to support it - the fact that it disappears sounds as if the inverter isn't able to handle this part of the schedule.

You haven't mentioned your firmware versions, but the latest for the KH are Master 1.41, Slave 1.01, Manager(ARM) 1.40 - I would recommend you get them updated, either get your installer to do it, or raise a support ticket in the V2 app (click Me, Contact Us, Support) and ask for the firmware to be updated.

On the timings for Scheduler, it operates differently to the standard charge periods which could span midnight, the scheduler cannot so you need to set 23:30-23:59 Force Charge as one schedule, and 00:00-05:29 Force Charge as another - but for now whilst you wait for the firmware to be updated dsiable your scheduler and use your old charge periods.

Many thanks Dave. My firmware definitely needs an upgrade I'm on 1.27 (master), 1.01 (slave) and 1.19 (manager). I'll raise a ticket today.

Also, apologies for posting this on the wrong section! Can't even claim a rookie error for that one
