Hi forum,
I've just moved into a property that has a H1-3.7-E inverter and 2 energy cubes. The inverter has the wifi dongle plugged in (flashing red).
Using the app I think I've been able to successfully connect it to my wifi network (through the app's WLAN setup, connecting using the default password then setting the network) though I can't then create an account - when scanning the device SN QR codes it's returning "invalid device SN" for the inverter, battery and wifi dongle, presumably as they're still registered to the previous owner's account.
Has anybody come across this before and know how I can transfer to my name easily? I've reached out to Fox support but haven't heard back yet, hoping they can sort it unless anybody knows how I can in the meantime. Cheers

If your datalogger red light is flashing slowly ( and there's a green pulse every 30 seconds or so) then you are connected to the cloud - the problem then is, will it be already registered as you can only have one user per system.
Just to check the serial number you use to register it is the datalogger serial number and if it returns the invalid device SN it is usually because there is already a user attached. The only people that can fix that are Fox service so 'yule' (apologies) have to wait until they respond.
You can do things like set the batteries to charge up in a overnight low tariff period via the front panel, but at this time of year there isn't much so solar so you're probably not missing much - if you need a hand with setting anything let me know.
Hi Dave, thanks for this info, that's really helpful! Yes, appears it is now connected to the cloud based on the LED sequence.
Good to know that it's the datalogger SN and indeed yes, will keep fingers crossed for Fox support to come back to me and hopefully reset it so I can pair.
I guess if there are any problems I could just purchase a new datalogger and then that wouldn't have the same issue?
Cheers
