KH10 Firmware Upgrade: SCI Fault

Hi, Following my request last week I received an email from Fox at about 10:00 this morning confirming they were going to update my KH10 inverter firmware. They said it would take 'upwards of 1 hour'. I waited until 13:00 but when I tried to check in Home Assistant via my Waveshare adaptor I couldn't connect. Checking the inverter front panel it shows SCI fault. I have tried the only thing I know which is turning everything off and on again but the fault just comes back.
I have sent an email to Fox but in the meantime is there anything else I can try?
Thanks, Hugh

Hmmm that means you have a comms error between Master and Manager components - probably because the upgrade has failed or not completed - other than a full shutdown/restart there's not a huge amount you can do until Fox get back to it.
Perhaps see if you can get the inverter firmware versions from the inverter panel 'About, Inv Ver' menu item - and I can look up the latest to see what has failed.

Hi Dave,
The previous settings were:
Manager 1.22
Master 1.39
Slave 1.01
Now, post 'update'
Manager 1.37
Master 0.00
Slave 0.00
Not sure you can glean any useful information from that! Well, apart from the fact that the update hasn't worked. I will send these to Fox and see if they can sort it.
Thanks, Hugh

Hi - I have this same fault (started yesterday) on an H1-5.0-E-G2 Inverter. Looks like a remote firmware update to Manager 1.62 happened (that version's not even on Wills master list yet) - and zero versions are now showing for Master and Slave. SCI fault showing on the inverter panel (comes back if rebooted) and in error log.
Was your issue resolved remotely? I can still see the inverter in Fox ESS Cloud and have emailed my installer to see if they can rectify....
