App currently showing System Offline

Hi
Just wondering if there is any planned maintenace with the Fox servers?
My app is currently showing that my Inverter is offline. The inverter screen seems to be ok with Power 42w / SoC 19% / Normal / correct date and time.
The wifi dongle is slow flashing red.
I have noticed on this forum that this is sometimes caused if the Fox servers are down for maintenance - is anyone else experiencing problems?

Have just talked to a friend and his system is showing offline as well so guessing an issue at Fox.

Yes i’m seeing the same - the Fox servers that handle data receipts must be being worked on.

Yes. I'm the same. It went to this status about 19:30 UK time.

The same has happened to me. Inverter and battery are fine but app is showing offline and all values in the app are zero.

Was about to post but seems to be a not confined to myself.
Great community, but any chance we can get rid of all these awful adverts everywhere!! Makes things so much worse trying to navigate around all these unwanted ads!

Ditto, just found the forum and was going to post the same. Glad to see that it's not just us newbies!
Not the easiest app or sytem to navigate when you are a complete beginner with the whole solar/battery thing as a whole!

Yes all working for me, the Fox servers appear to have come back on-line around 1.19am (GMT)

This issue seems to be affecting users differently. Nice to see some reporting everything restored but others (me included) still with an issue but right now the cloud services monitor still reports a fault. So I can be patient
EDIT: No sooner had I declared my patience than it was rewarded

Yes it was only a temporary outage (~8 hours)

I have been through all the steps listed below, checked my connection, performed an inverter reboot and the inverter is still stuck in off mode.
The dongle has connection, is flashing slowly red and th inverter is flashing the green light quickly…suggesting it’s trying to upload a cut….
It’s been like this for over a week, any help?

Does it show up in the client list of your router too?

Hi had a new install today, everything was working fine until my accessory had a firmware update and now the app says that everything is offline.
The inverter is working and so are the 2 batteries.
As it’s my first day I really wanted to set it to charge overnight at the cheap rate but the app will not let me do anything.
Please help.

Oh no, not the best start.
Shut-Down Sequence – (Switch OFF)
1. Turn OFF the PV supply at the consumer unit (3).
2. Turn OFF the AC isolator at the consumer unit (3).
3. Switch the AC Isolator at the inverter to OFF (2).
4. Switch the DC Isolators at the Inverter to OFF (2).
5. Battery off
Wait for your Inverter screen to go blank.
Then I do all of that in reverse.

Hi ,
Thanks for the quick response
I did try that and the inverter started and the batteries are working fine
The app, however still isn’t seeing them.
Incidentally I do not have an external dongle but have a little antenna instead. When I try to join the wlan it accepts my WiFi password and then says it’s connected but does nothing.
