EPS battery idle for no reason

I have a EPS5 battery, it was working fine but now it is neither charging or discharging and is at 17% SOC. The invertor has comms with the battery (I think) and sees a SOH of 96%. The battery however has one flashing red and two solid greens which suggests I have a SOH error. i get no error reports today but did see some errors yesterday but cant get back to them. the battery is one year old , the system was all powered down and back up again at the start of this issue

i have tried taking the battery off air for 15 minues + and trying a normal power up and restart proceedure, help pls thanks

Can you upload a picture of the lights and I can compare the lights with the error codes in the manual.

That error light matches the error "Module addressing failed". Are the blank plugs with the rj45 jumpers installed on the left side of the battery? You need to install the blank plugs under the caps when using one battery.

Thanks for reply, Ive reseated the loop through connectors and all is well, the main ethernet connection had not clicked in but ive reseated this also. No change in status on the battery Im afraid, but invertor does seem to be going through a cycle [now] of saying "waiting" then "checking" with a countdown on checking, then appears to do a power cycle and start again. Ive tried stopping and starting invertor from the panel no change. Im going to switch the invertor off and isolate from the grid as its basically clicking relays every 30 seconds and its 2015 here , but the good news is at least we have changed the status of the situation which is progress, maybe I grab a new piece of ethernet cable ? Not that I can think anything has damaged the one that came with the unit ?

any advice welcome but it seems like you are right about the comms module or something comms related

thanks again
