Mixing Batteries

Hi All,

I have a H1 5.0 Inverter and a Ver:D BMS connected to 4 x HV2600 Ver:C batteries.

I'd like to add additional capacity, and noticed that the HV25 (Mira) Batteries are significantly cheaper for the same Hv2600 capacity (essentially).

Are the Mira batteries compatible with the HV2600 batteries and the BMS?

Thanks

Ash

Whilst the MIRA batteries look similar they are not compatible with your system.

Ideally you would add additional HV2600 V1 batteries if you can get hold of them, not so ideal is to mix the pack with V2 HV2600 batteries but you would need to have a V2 BMS unit for that (and in my experience you will lose capacity when mixing battery versions).

(If your BMS is only half depth it is a V1, if it is full depth it will be a V2)
