Can the USB Port on H3 provide power?
Hi,

I am looking at adding Modbus integration to my H3 inverter. My plan was to power the adaptor using the usb port on the bottom of the H3. I know this port is only for diagnostics, but does anyone know if can/will provide enough power to run an Elfin dongle?

Thanks,
James

sadly not enough power from the USB port, would need to be powered from a socket or I believe some of the efin adapters support POE if you have POE on your network switch to use.
