AC1 in addition to existing H1 Inverter

Hi,

We currently have a 4kw pv array attached to an H1 3.7 inverter with 3 hv2600 batteries (V1 batteries - version C).

Have just taken an AC1 5kw inverter and 7 HV 2600 batteries (V1 batteries - Version D) out of another property and was wondering, if I had this fitted to our property alongside what is already there, is it possible to make the AC1 and H1 inverters work together so we are always charging / discharging in an optimal way.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Sadly, there is no supported way to link the older style inverters. I've serially connected the old style before but it's not really a great solution. The best way forward would be to upgrade both your inverters to two x H1-gen2, which support parallel mode.

I made a video about it here:
