On getting an EV charger.

Hi all,
My set up at the moment is: FoxESS EP11, H1-3.7-E-G2, 7 x 440 PV panels, Octopus heat pump.
Next step for this household is an EV charger. Apparently there is a Fox ESS ev charger out there, but it doesn't appear to be mainstream in the UK. Two electricians have visited the house and both recommend Zappi.
I want to power the ev charger from the grid during the e.on nextdrive overnight rate and obviously not use the EP11.
My understanding is that I set up a 'use the grid' period on the Fox app by:- quick settings>grid charge setting>set charging time start and finish>don't toggle the charge from grid>submit. Then all loads on the house will be met from the grid during that set time.
Have I got that right?
TIA
