Mode scheduler
Hi, I’ve got an H1-6.0-E with the max 1p 17kWH of batteries and 18 x 415W PV panrels on 2 strings.

This has been installed and running fine for about a year. Been on Octopus Intelligent Go for the EVs and using the standard Force Charge Time settings.

I’ve now had a heat pump installed to replace my gas boiler and switched over to Cosy Octopus so I can run the pump continually on time shifted cheap electricity, but of course I now need to force battery charging 3 times a day.

I understand the way to do that is to use the Mode Schedule, but that option is greyed out in the Fox ESS app, and when I try to select it, it says ‘not supported’

Before I go bug my installer, is there a way to enable it on my inverter? Does it need a firmware upgrade? Is it just not possible on this model?

Thanks

Mark
Re: Mode scheduler
That usually means that you are running very old firmware, if you check your firmware versions on the Device, Inverter, click inverter serial number below the image and look at Master, Slave and ARM versions - what are they ?

As it’s very likely that the firmware is old it will need to be updated which can be done remotely by your installer, if your installer is no longer trading or does not respond you can raise a ticket in the app (Me, Contact Us, Support)
Re: Mode scheduler
Version_master 1.60
Version_slave 1.02
Version_ARM 1.63
Re: Mode scheduler
Ok yes it is firmware, the latest is Master 1.70, Manager(ARM) 1.78 you will need to get it updated to support it.

I can’t quite recall but think it was around Manager(ARM) 1.67 scheduler was introduced.
