Hi I just got my ev and home pro.

I have a issue using the smart feature Yesterday, the EV charging schedule on the Octopus app seem to have the session past 5.30 am (I did not notice this) and this combined with the battery schedule, it seem to have charged my EV from 5.30 - 7.00 am taking from the home battery rather than grid (Hopefully since it was not boost, Intelligent Go would be still at 7p).

How do we ensure that the home battery is not used to charge EV when Intelligent GO creates a schedule that is outside of 23.30 - 5.30 window?

Further to this i set the car to compete by 5.30 so through the night it was chatting battery and car but at 4am it took all the juice out the battery and now left me with 58% of house battery. I don't want it to take any juice from the battery as that defeats the object.

There are multiple posts on the forum for this (here is a recent one https://foxesscommunity.com/viewtopic.php?p=9661 ), but basically to do what you want the EV charger must be wired so the home battery doesn’t see it. If you leave it like this whenever the EV is charging it will take power from the home battery unless you set the home batteries to charge at the same time or raise your minsoc to 100% until the EV has finished charging.
