Hi
I have a Solis Inverter and two Fox ESS LV5200 batteries
They ahvealwasy charged up to 100% but recently it seems as if they willnot go above 94%
The SOH is 96% and the temperatures is fine
Can anyone offer a reason or a solution as to why they wont show a charge above 94%

Hi,
I was wondering if you resolved this issue as I have the same problem, battery will only charge to 92-94%.
Looking for help with this also!

Thanks,

Well solis did a roll back on my inverter firmware upgrade for EMS and that’s made no difference . Worse if anything . Fox tell me there is a new battery BMS update available
But Fix engineer said the failure to charge to 100% and only 95% reflects the batteries aging and SOH (my SOH is 96%) it’s a fact as they age (2yrs?) they don’t fully charge but it doesn’t affect performance . Batteries are ok . But this all started when Solis updated firmware on inverter . 100% every charge before that !! Surly not coincidental

It certainly seems a bit of a coincidence.
My battery is only 2 months old with 100% SOH. Temp never falls below 15 degrees C.
Charged to 100% until last week, wonder if mine was a firmware update also, I don't know how to check!
Anyway, thanks for responding!

Fox can give instructions to an installer to update it
But get it wrong and like the inverter you’ll brick it . Batteries two months old should charge to 100%! Unless it’s a setting on the inverter. But I think it’s a serious co incidence that this started after the Solis updated my firmware

Hi,
Just something you might find interesting.
Last week I signed up for Capture AI to automate charging/discharging times.
Since then the battery has been charging to 100% each night!
