THIS OLD CHESTNUT IS BACK IN THE NEW G2 WL INVERTERS!!
My H1-5.0-E-G2 inverter was recently replaced under warranty with a newer H1-6.0-E-G2-WL model.
Today is the first day with any significant PV output since the swap.
The issue that was fixed in the non-WL inverter firmware appears to still be there in the WL variant firmware : i.e. PV output is clipped to Zero when battery is charging from the grid.
An Octopus IOG car charging session session kicked in and my automation set the house battery to force charge at the same time. I'm currently throwing away 2kwh of solar production and buying from the grid....
Current firmware is :
Master : 1.47
Slave : 1.04
Manager : 1.33
It's disappointing that an issue that was identified and, eventually, fixed is still there in the firmware for the later product line...
Ticket raised with Foix ESS for comments/fix/update.... Here we go again....
