Lost my connection with Router

I have had my inverter etc connected to a 4g TPLink WiFi router for a couple of years. Every now and then the 4g goes down. (Vodafone) When it returns . I reboot the Router and the readings start showing on the FoxEss app.

We had an outage last night. It's all back now, done a couple of reboots but nothing just won't reconnect.

Ive tried to connect it to my smartphone but nothing shows on blue tooth. The blue tooth show blue on the inverter and the light on the dongle is rapidly flashing red.

Any idea how I can get it all reconnected ? Nothing has changed apart from installing a new router about a month ago but I changed the router settings so it was the same as the old ruler and it all connected straight away.

If you remove and insert the WiFi dongle on the bottom of the inverter, does this make it connect?
Have you powered the inverter off since yesterday when it stopped working?

If this fails, you may need to power off router and restart it again also, as it may have picked a congested WiFi channel to broadcast on, and the signal is poor because of this.

Thanks for the reply. I have gone through the reconnection process as shown in other posts but no joy.
I’ve gone a big brain dead now and will go back into battle tomorrow trying your suggestion.

Hallelujah! It’s all reconnected!!
It’s possible I just wasn’t patient enough. Anyway, all working at the moment and I’ll leave that dongle alone :D

Hi Belinda,

Yes this probably is the issue, the refresh times on the Fox Cloud 2.0 app are very slow. In the past I have had to wait 15 mins for any signs of life with the app, there is talk of increasing the refresh times, but alas this hasn't happened yet.
