Hi,
Recently started getting an issue where app stops updating and data logger of my h3 smart 15kw inverter shows offline. When this happens the blue light on inverter is flashing. Sometimes it gets resolved on its own. Other times i need to repair in wlan settings in app again which also sometimes displays device connection failure when connecting. Wifi router has no signal strength issues or other problems. There is though an upgrade available in app for datalogger which fails with msg 41206. No error seen on inverter when the issue happens and all devices work fine. Just the datalogger loses connection atleast 2 to 3 times a day.
Thanks
Jamshed
What's the router actually reporting for the data logger? and if possible does it indicate what the noise floor is?Jamshed860 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 9:46 am Wifi router has no signal strength issues or other problems.
Have you checked the data logger in the device section of the portal, it gives an indication in bars of the signal strength the data logger reports. If you see no bars then it'd be a signal issue.
My data logger is separate to the inverter.
Data logger shows offline in device when this happens with no bars. It seems to have lost connection. My datalogger is internal and part of inverter. This has started happening only recently the only change was failed firmware upgrade of data logger. Would that have caused issue. There are also 2 upgrades in inverter firmware as well which fail as well.
What about when it is connected?Jamshed860 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 12:28 pm Data logger shows offline in device when this happens with no bars. It seems to have lost connection.
Pretty sure I've read that Fox has to fix it on their end when there is update failures.Jamshed860 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 12:28 pm My datalogger is internal and part of inverter. When its connected has 4 bars. The inverter is very near to wifi router.
Then you'll probably need to chase up the firmware update issue.Jamshed860 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2026 12:37 pm When its connected has 4 bars. The inverter is very near to wifi router.
Depending on the dates the firmware versions were released, if it was in quick succession it could indicate other people reported problems.
