I really like the changes made in the new app. It would have been nice to have been given some warning that the change was happening and also some sort of tutorial sent out prior to the change being made. The videos that Will has made are great but it takes time to find them!!!
I seem to be having a problem with the new mode scheduler.
With the old app version I could stop the battery being discharged by selecting a "Charging from Grid: Disabled" slider so that the battery did not discharge whilst I charge my EV over night. It looks like I should be able to do this in the new app. However, It is showing that the "Charge Power from the grid" is at 0.00W and the "Charging from grid slider" is Disabled but the battery is still being chargerd from the grid at the same time the EV is being charged. I have tried this several time now with no success. Not sure what I am doing wrong!
I would be grateful if you help workout what I am doing wrong?

I just set mine to charge each night from 23:30 to 05:30 for my off peak rate and forget about it personally.

The only reason I can see it would charge, is bugs in the software, which is common in the new 2.2.x version, and it might be taking your 100% battery value in your first schedule and forcing a charge regardless of the grid being disabled.


Several choices for you, wire the EVCP so that it is not seen via the Inverter to stop it discharging. Splitting the power via Henley Blocks after your meter, and placement of CT Clamps to make the EVCP power invisible to the Inverter.

Adjust the work mode schedule until it behaves (if at all)
