unresolvable CODE-234

Lovely people,
Last week my FOX-ESS solar, battery and inverter system had a bit of meltdown that seemed to coincide with issues that were reported with the Foxcloud 2.0. The system was installed last summer has has worked flawlessly since then. My installer has been of ZERO help at all and I have had numerous emails and chats with the FOX-ESS help team, who have been very helpful, but have ultimately been unable to solve the problem remotely as they are unable to communicate with the BMS so are sending a new connector.
the problem started with a lost wifi, unable to instal firmware 2.03 and Bothe CODE-195 battery voltage fault and a CODE-234 BMS failure. The BMS has a red warning light and first to green lights are on.
I have managed to get the wifi connection restored and firmware upgrade complete but I can't resolve the CODE-234. The battery is no longer showing on my system and clearly I can't charge the battery - the main advantage for us at the moment is using the low price elec to force charge the battery.
I have tried the power down process a couple of times to no avail and somehow I don't think a new connection lead will help - an ethernet connector cable should have a lifespan well beyond the batteries..As I said earlier the installer is refusing to help as they say the warranty is with Fox-ESS...great! its self help
