Hi,
Recently installed a FOX 25kW H3 PRO + CQ6 L8 (47.92kWh), customer wants to set it to max export (to get the most out of the short feed-in-tariff window) - it should be 23kw (the max output power of the battery), however it maxes out at around 16.7kw.
Not sure why it does this - I've checked all the export limit settings and can't see anything that would cause this, but im sure its a setting as the max power of the CQ6 L8 is 23.04kW. (as seen in the data sheet)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Simple volts over amps. You're bang on the max throughput of that number of batteries. You'd need to add more batteries to increase the voltage to get more throughput.

Appreciate that I have different kit to your customer's installation, but seen similar before myself on a few occasions.
I will say this about my own observations, I have a K7 with EP11 that can charge/discharge at 7kW limit of my inverter.
I have an export limit of 3.9kW, and usually if I force a discharge, or during PV production I can export at this rate normally fine.
This following graph is over two days: Day 1, I do as always an early morning discharge, running at a nice flatline 3.9kW. As the PV begins, you see the classic pattern, and I export some leftover after the PV stops, also at 3.9kW.
Day 2, starts again with the discharge, normal PV/export line, which I boosted up in the late afternoon with a force discharge with the 3.9kW peak seen. Now towards the end of the evening, I do a force discharge to empty the battery completely. This time, and what ties into your observation is that it was only exporting at 3kW (aka, lower than expected)
Theory: I wonder if grid Voltage/Frequency is causing the Inverter to back off the normal export limit.
Can you see/get a graph of the export from customers kit?
Do you think your customer's Inverter was throttling due to Heat/Grid Voltage/Frequency/Settings?

The regional manager for Fox Australia got back to me and said that it was the software that was limiting the h3 pro to 17kw per battery input.
They are pushing out a new software update to fix this.
