At my wits end: just cant the app to work after full fibre upgrade

Hi,
We had full fibre connected 2 days ago.
New router: changed the SSID and password to old router, good coverage where the inverter and data logger is located.
Changed band width on new router to 2.4 . Reconnected using the app WLAN configuration (said successful configuration ) and then going to the network site as shown on the video and connecting it to the internet (get the "success") . absolutely no joy still stays offline , no readings. I just don't know what to do. The battery is still force charging overnight as per original settings but I can get nothing on the app despite numerous attempts.
Any advise ?
Many thanks
Belinda

If you change your router back to it's default SSID/Pass, and attempt to program the system again, does that help it?

Thanks for the reply,
I haven't tried that because it worked fine with the old router ( I have changed routers in the last couple of months and used the changing the SSID and password method ,all worked fine)
I would have to change all the inverter internet settings...which apparently is tricky and I wouldn't know where to start .

In theory it should have connected with the change in router SSID/Password.
Did you reboot the Inverter at all?

This is the first time its never worked in over a year. I usually have to wait a few hours and it just reconnects. Occasionally it's been due to an outage at Foxess end but this is too much of a coincidence.
I am too scared to reboot the inverter , wouldn't know how to really and worried Ill lose all of my settings so the battery will not charge overnight
Im going to have to call someone out. Unfortunately the electricians who initially connected its all up were totally useless. Their parting words were you don't need to touch anything ! I have literally learned everything from this forum including insulating the batteries etc.
Its finding someone who knows what they are doing is the challenge for me

You should give this a go yourself, and if it does not work then you can call someone in (better would be forum!)
Just wait for when you have cooked, and you don't need the power.
Shut-Down Sequence – (Switch OFF)
1. Turn OFF the PV supply at the consumer unit (3).
2. Turn OFF the AC isolator at the consumer unit (3).
3. Switch the AC Isolator at the inverter to OFF (2).
4. Switch the DC Isolators at the Inverter to OFF (2).
5. Battery off
Wait for your Inverter screen to go blank.
Then I do all of that in reverse.

Ok thanks, might give this a go but will line someone up to come and look any it all before trying it.
I have had a couple of recommendations.
Thanks for replying, do appreciate it.

The settings will be saved, do not worry about that being lost.

Thank you , really helpful. Will go into battle tomorrow as totally had enough of it tonight.
My batteries are in a stack Its covered by a big box for insulation . I might just some pics of everything and send them your way if you don't mind before attempting it.
Thanks again
Bel

Sure thing, post away.
Someone will be about to give advice if you get stuck.
Battery tip, mine is an EP11, and you will find a silver power button on the side where the wires enter. As yours are different, they should have a similar on/off button I suspect.
