why is the battery discharging

another anomoly??
PV producing 2 1/2 kW
house using 260W
exporting 2.2kW
....so why is the battery discharging ?????

The battery is full, so the PV energy has to go somewhere.
So it goes to the grid.
When the battery is at 100% SoC, depend on your program running, it will either HOLD at this value, or begin to slowly discharging. The battery doesn't like being at 100% for too long, so if it was in self-use mode it would drop down to around 95% and cycle back up to 100%

Ah right, that makes sense.....although the battery isn't really at 100% as its actual capacity is 11.6kWh with only 10.4 available at 90% of 11.6 to allow the user to think it is 100%
Yes, having dropped a bit it is now at 94% and charging again.
