Mode scheduler not working as expected

Hi Guys,

Just got my new battery and am just getting my head around it. I thought I had set up the scheduler properly, but it is not doing what I expect based on the text in the app.

So I have the following set up
- Existing 5kW Solar
- New 23kWh battery

What I want to happen is for the battery to charge off the grid and solar during the day shoulder period. Then discharge during the night. We have a controlled load hot water cylinder, but I don't want to fully discharge the battery, heating up in the middle of the night.

So what I have is the following schedule
- 0:00 to 6:00 Min Soc 40% and Max 100%, set to self-use
- 6:00 - 10:00 Min Soc 10% and Max 100%, set to self-use
- 10:00 - 15:00 Min Soc 100%, set to forced charge, max 3kW
- rest of the time set to Min Soc 10% and Max 100%, set to self-use

Now, during the 6:00 to 10:00, the system is exporting the solar and not charging the battery. When it ticks over to 10:00, it starts importing to charge the battery, which is great and the plan.

One thing I noticed on the app, it says Gen load and Solar load. The system thinks my solar is the gen. Could this be the issue? If so, how do I fix it, or is that an issue for the installer to sort out?

If you have an existing solar system and the Fox is providing only battery it will be AC connected (whereas if the solar panels are directly connected to the Fox it will be DC connected) - the primary difference being it will show as Gen load (externally generated) and not Solar.

Can you confirm the inverter model and what the Master/ARM firmware versions are please

It would be helpful to diagnose if you could post a couple of traces from the app - first if you could screenshot the power flow (the first page of the app) which shows the various real time metrics, then if you click on 'Daily Production' and select a day at the top where you have had a typical full day - then screenshot and post the Statistics graph at the bottom.
