EPS Wiring and Setting up on 6kW H1 G2 Inverter
Be gentle, first post.

Had the above inverter installed very recently, and I'm considering fitting a very simple output socket fed from the EPS output.

My understanding is as follows
  • Grid supply is T-N-CS (PME in old money), so I will need to bond the Inverter and output Earth connection to a 'TT' Earth Rod ?
  • Output will require a Type A RCD and 25A MCB ?
  • EPS Output requires activating in the Installer's menu, or is it active already, and/or is there an option to have it available at all times (not just during a grid failure )?

If it doubt consault a professional as EPS can be danagerious if not done correctly but at a high level yes. You'd need an earth rode.

For a single socket, go with a 16A 30mA RCBO noramlly a Type A / Bcurve

Gen2 inverters noramlly have EPS set to UPS but if in doubt I made a video here:
