On the FoxESS H1-5.0-E1-G2-WL (H1-G2), setting 'Import Limit' in the app automatically switches the inverter's Work Mode to 'Peak Shaving'. I'm running Predbat (via Modbus/Home Assistant) for price-based charge/discharge scheduling, which also controls the Work Mode entity (Self Use / Force Charge). Is the Import Limit / grid import cap (ImportLimitPower) available as an independent Modbus register that can be set without switching the Work Mode to Peak Shaving, so it can run alongside an external scheduler like Predbat?"

Not sure whether the H1-G2 supports it, but you could try reading register pair 46501/2 the protocol document says that this is a 32 bit integer for Importpowerlimit.

ImportCurrLimit would be at 46618 (16 bit integer) - but possibly this is only implemented on latest KH, H3 Smart, Evo.
