Inverter stuck on “waiting” after clear fault code 26 and 28

Hi all,
New Fox ESS KH9.9 plus 42kw battery owner, connecting to existing Enphase micro inverter solar panels.
Installation was done two days ago and have been running fine.
Today after battery is fully charged, error code 26 and 28 popped up. Did a bit research and upped the grid voltage and 10min avg voltage from 230V to 260V.
Hard reboot system and faults cleared, however the inverter is now stuck on “waiting” forever.
Have checked my settings: self-use no mod schedule. Min SOC 10% Max 100%. Rebooted multiple times.
Despite battery being 97%, the inverter is pulling all from grid…. I’m at my wits end.

Codes 26/27 are what you see if you have lost utility i.e. the grid is no longer connected or voltage / frequency is out of range.

If the inverter is saying ‘waiting’ then that confirms that it cannot see any grid voltage and so it is unable to connect and start to operate normally - this is often resulting from a tripped breaker, so check that any circuit breakers that feed the inverters grid connection are turned on, and/or any RCD’s haven’t tripped.

With it being such a new install it is possible there has been a loose connection which will have been arcing and eventually broken the connection, so if you cannot find any tripped breakers feeding the inverter and there are no connectors loose - turn off the grid breaker to the inverter and call your installer, it needs to be checked.

Thanks for your comments! I waited this morning to check again and it is back to normal now. While I was at panel I heard the inverter made a few noise as the sun come up and it reconfigured itself…does the inverter need solar input to boot up properly? I thought a full battery would have enough juice for that…
