Mode Scheduler unavailable

Hi

I have been happily using the Foxcloud 2.0 Mobile App mode scheduler to control battery export and charging schedules for our house solar/battery system for several months. Then since yesterday I cannot access the mode scheduler and the house battery is sitting at 11% and charging very slowly as it's a dull day. When I try to access the mode scheduler in my usual manner via Quick Settings/Work Mode & Mode Scheduler it takes me to a different screen to previously, i.e. one where you could toggle on/off charging/export at various times. Instead it goes to a screen titled Work Mode which displays VPP Controlled below which is a 24 hr Schedule of Forced Charge, Self-use and Forced Discharge none of which bares any reality to what is happening to my system, which is not a lot .

Our Fox ESS system comprises two separate installations for the House and the Barn which are on two separate ectricity supplies:

House system: Solar panels and battery on Octopus Flux Export and Octopus Flux Import tariffs. We have not knowingly agreed to Octopus controlling this system.

Barn system: Solar panels, battery and Zappi on Outgoing Octopus and Intelligent Octopus Go tariffs. We have signed up tp allow Octopus to discharge/charge to/from the grid for this system as they see fit, i.e a VPP.

Can anyone suggest why I can no longer access the mode scheduler for our house system and how to rectify it?

Alan

There have been a few users complaining today with access to systems, has it fixed itself now, or still misbehaving?

Hi

No it's still the same. After further investigation it appears to me that Octopus Energy are the source of the issue. It's as if they have taken control of my system, .i.e. locking me out, but are not actually controlling it. I have sent an email to Octopus about the situation. The problem coincides with tariff charge change made on Monday which might be a coincidence!

Odds are they have control, depending on your tariff choice indeed.
Let's hope they can sort it out.
