Hi,
So I have a system that is 3-4 weeks old and its going great other than a few tweaks that need to be done to get the import down overnight.
When the system was installed I went with the Fox ESS EC2900 - 14.4kW Li-ion Battery (1 x Master + 4 Slaves @2.88kWh each) and it's great. But with my ...

Re: Compensation Bias - How To Set
Thank you Dave, very kind. If they do have a response, could you ask rough ETA for possible adoption for the H3 Pro. Keen to get that set and tested.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Re: Compensation Bias - How To Set
I have just been told by my installer that the Compensation Bias option is not available for the H Series yet. Do we have any ideas on how often FOX role out updates from the K series to the H Series so this feature will be possible?

Re: Compensation Bias - How To Set
Thank you Dave,
That's a really good and clear explanation and really helps. I will leave it with the installer for now, if they don't reply end of the week I'll ask FOX to do this for me. 80w is a good number as you say, I'm generating around 55-65kWh per day for export as I use very little day ...

Re: Compensation Bias - How To Set
Thanks Dave,
I'll follow up with the installer, failing that I'll ask FOX to do the change. Is 80W the recommend value then? I'm still very unclear why near 2kWh is used over night for a fridge and small derives on like internet and Wi-Fi router etc. I invested in a large battery to be able to have ...

Re: Compensation Bias - How To Set
Thanks Dave, The installer doesn't know how to set it but they pushed my firmware update to Fox to do. Bit worrying? as they should be doing it right? I will ask FOX to set it. Is it possible to view what the BIAS is set to currently to make sure know when the correct value is set? Is it in the ...

Compensation Bias - How To Set
Hi,
I have been advises by Dave here in the forum to set the Compensation Bias to 80W as the system is still pulling off the grid at night when there is a full battery.
Would anyone know how this can be set and where or does the installer have to do it as he has no idea where to look.
Thanks in ...

Re: Grid Draw at night, batteries not used.
Hi,
I'm still waiting for the installer to get back to me on these recommendations but where can I see the latest software / firmware version of the inverter etc from the mobile phone app or the FOX web login? IS that possible? Can't seem to see it as wanted to check the 3 versions of software you ...

Grid Draw at night, batteries not used.
Hi,
Sorry to ask a possibly repeated question, I did a quick look and didn't see anything relating to this issue. My solar setup is as follows:
Fox ESS H3 Pro 15kW 3-Phase Hybrid Inverter
34 x 440W (3 strings 12+12+10) - Jinko Tiger Neo 440W N-Type All Black Mono Panels
Fox ESS EC2900 - 14.4kW Li ...

Daily Total Gerneration Report / Octoups Rates Question
Hi,
I'm working my way around the app and web login, all still new but I have a couple of quick questions:
Is it possible to see from the web log in the total daily generated energy as a simple total? For example, Monday 56kWh, Tuesday 61 etc etc. All I see is the daily generation but want to see ...

Thanks Will, you have been a star and appreciate the feedback.

Re: 2 Day Post Install Question
Thanks Will, totally understand the issues but I'm a good hour away from them so understand the call out. I don't expect an issue with hardware faults or replacement warranty issues but the remote update was something I was hoping FOX could do remotely? Or am I able to do it myself? I'm pretty I.T ...

Re: 2 Day Post Install Question
Thanks Will for the very quick reply.
I did call the installer, given my distances from where I live to him, he suggested I email the service.uk@fox-ess.com and send them my inverter SN and they can do it? Is it easy to do myself as I'm in IT and like to keep all my IT stuff up to date :-)

2 Day Post Install Question
Good afternoon,
I have just had my long awaited solar install at home 2 days ago (See my signature for details). It's a 34 Panel system with 14.4kW of batteries, mostly for being as self sufficient as possible while maximising the export to the grid using the 3-phase supply I have in the UK to my ...
