Partial charge overnight and battery charging schedule on Energy Stats app.
This is the start of my first winter with the system (installed Feb this year) The battery is mounted inside the garage.
I set the EP11 to charge for 3 hours last night, which it did but from a low of 12% only up to 44%. This is the first time it's failed to get back to a 90%+ soc. Min soc is set at 10% max soc 100%

I wonder if this was due to the very cold temperatures last night? Battery temp was showing as 6' on the app at 9 o'clock this morning. There is no 'warm' label on the battery. Perhaps I have to use insulation around the battery?

Re the Energy Stats app: I tend to use this first to set up the charging schedule. I noticed last night after setting a time period that no confirmation or schedule summary had appeared below the two 'time period' windows and previously unnoticed 'cancel' or 'save' boxes had appeared. The charge schedule had already been accepted.

If you have the Fox Cloud 2.0 App, which I am sure you do have, you can see chart showing how much you imported from grid during the night.

Sounds like you was temperature limited to about 1kW of charging, my battery charged at around 2.5kW, then ramped up to over 4kW as it warmed up. It is in garage also, but was warmer than yours during the night I would say.

Not sure what tariff you are using, but seems you need to extend your charging period to cover the entire time you are in cheap energy slots. If you have 5hrs of cheap electric, then make sure to set your period to cover this, as your charge rate will be limited.

And you need to insulate that battery, as you mentioned you are missing the WARM sticker.

Thanks for your reply MB48, good points.
I'll set a longer charging window from now on and fabricate an insulated box for the battery.
Cheers.
