How do people monitor what the system is doing. GUI question
Hi all.

Since I had my 10kwh battery and 4.5kwh solar installed (think 1 week) I have been a bit obsessive about what the system is doing. I need to stand back and relax. What I would like I suppose is an at a glance display to see the state of things so perhaps I wait a little before putting on a heavy load of washing.

As I see it my options are:-
Use an old tablet to have the web page live all the time
Perhaps rig up a modbus interface and develop a simple state of charge interface using a small CPU and a Graphical display.
Or if there is a web API poll the current data from the web and display that with a simple 3 number display
Solar
Battery State
Grid

The later would take me a long time to perfect and while it would be a fun project. I'm not sure it would be worth the time and effort.

So looking for feedback on what others have settled on. Save me reinventing the wheel.

Thanks if you go this far reading the post and many many more thanks if you respond.

Cheers

Tim

The Fox Cloud 2.0 App on your phone is probably your best bet, and data is usually 5 mins out of realtime as an average or less, so perhaps as you say, no need to re-invent the wheel.

I tend to check the weather daily (before solar) so if the forecast shows a sunny day ahead, you can perform a few tasks back to back, like washing/drying a few loads of clothes.

Hopefully a few more people will chime in, they might have a neater solution.
