What is the difference between Force Charge and Force Charge (BAT) ?
I cannot see this explained anywhere or in any online thread as yet.

On the online FOXESScloud.com:
In Mode Scheduler > Work Mode - there are 7 options:
Backup
Feed-in Priority
Force Charge
Force Charge (BAT)
Force Discharge
Force Discharge (BAT)
Self-use

(1) What is the difference between Force Charge and Force Charge (BAT) ?
(2) Why are the (BAT) options not available on the FoxCloud 2.0 app?

Many thanks
Re: What is the difference between Force Charge and Force Charge (BAT) ?
Force Charge and Force Discharge control the amount of power being converted from AC to DC and vice versa on the inverter itself. This is most obvious in summer during the day, when there is PV, because the PV will substitute for the battery. So for example, if you set Force Discharge to 5kW, and there is 2kW of PV, then the battery will discharge at 3kW, and you'll get 5kW of AC (ignoring efficiency losses).

The (BAT) versions of Force Charge and Discharge are new, and I believe they control the charge and discharge rate of the battery itself. So for example, if you set Force Discharge (BAT) to 5kW, and there is 2kW of PV, then the battery will discharge at 5kW, but you'll get 7kW of AC (ignoring efficiency losses).
