Hi guys just installed the fox system single phase on 16/1/26. I noticed that when the load is more than 3 or 4 it will withdraw from the grid. then after a while (maybe a couple of minutes or longer) grid will drop back to 20w. I wonder if this is normal? it mainly happened during higher load (say more than 3kw)
Can we get 4 pieces of information to assist you please...
You may have to let us know what you see for your Battery limits in your Inverter
Also to get you Export/Import power/current limits as seen in his short video
You haven't told us what Inverter you have fitted, if you have a small 4kW one, then you are going to be limited in what you can convert from your battery (DC) into power (AC)
hello thank you for your help. So i went to check and the screen is like this since installed. I haven't touched anything yet. Should I do something about it?
I am just an end user like yourself, I wonder if that is the initial setup screen shown for a new install?
If Dave Foster views your post, hopefully he can answer what that screen is.
Having a strong Inverter like you have, it can convert 10kW and not the limited power you are seeing.
Not sure exactly what battery (should I say stack of batteries!) but if you can post the model, then we can find the charge/discharge rates. I suspect they exceed the 10kW of your Inverter if needed, which makes me suspect your Inverter has not been programmed at all, or if it has, incorrectly.
