Hi, I am new user with new Fox ESS battery.
When using the Energy Stats app it is not showing Solar today total.
My Solar panels are not connected directly to Fox battery but Solar is being measured by ct clamp and showing as gen load (meter2) within the Foxcloud2 app so the data is being recorded. I was hoping the daily solar total would be displayed in energy stats app, I have enabled ct2 settings within the energy stats app.
Does anyone know how to resolve getting energy stats app to display solar today total
Thanks Bryan
When solar is connected via a separate inverter the Fox cloud does not maintain statistics for it, only the real time 'power' view is available.
I heard from Al over the weekend that the KH inverter with latest firmware and W6 datalogger has started to maintain CT2 (meter2) stats but they are not available through the OpenAPI and so he has emailed Fox to see if they will add them.
Al does check in from time to time so hopefully he can add more about this.
Also worth mentioning, if you connect a home assistant to the OpenAPI cloud as that runs 24/7, you can collate the meter2 power samples into daily, weekly, monthly, yearly totals and add it to the energy dashboard.
