Write fail error when trying to update Min SOC
Write fail error when trying to update Min SOC - this is the same on the app and the web version.

I had a schedule setup in mode scheduler but read somewhere that might cause the issus. I deleted the schedule but is still getting the write error.

Any suggestions please?
Re: Write fail error when trying to update Min SOC
I had/have the same. If I have any schedule set and active I get write failed errors for many settings. If I delete/disable ALL schedules I can usually get the write to work. TBH I have given up on the app and just use the web interface now. Not a great first time user experience for me but I hope the app will stabilise over time...
Re: Write fail error when trying to update Min SOC
Adding myself to this on an EP11.
Plus my battery seems to not want to discharge below 19% now
Re: Write fail error when trying to update Min SOC
Workaround in V2.2.1 :
Home screen : Change the work mode back to Self-Use.
Then try to change min soc / backup SOC as normal (Device > Battery > Settings).
Then change work mode back to Mode Scheduler on Home screen.
Re: Write fail error when trying to update Min SOC
( yes its a pain in the butt that adding / changing mode schedule item timeslots resets MinSOC to 10 % !!)
Re: Write fail error when trying to update Min SOC
I tried setting the min SoC (e.g. to 45%) in Self-use but the system over-rode what I set and used the 10% default setting. I have 5 hours of cheap night-time tariff, so I used to set the min SoC to just below what it was when going to bed, then set the car charger to charge first and the Fox battery to charge later. Now, with the SoC resetting itself to 10%, the Fox battery discharges into my car and I then have to recharge the FoxESS from 10%. This is madness! I want to charge the car from the grid, not from the Fox battery (which is much smaller than the car battery, so discharges very quickly.)

Has anyone found a work around that actually works?

The only ways i’m aware of outside the Fox V2 app is to use the website to set the schedules, and that does allow you to independently set the minSoC setting, or you can try the Energy Stats app by Al Priest which is used by thousands of owners (on iOS and Android)

Urrgh... you're right. Tried it just now and everything was fine until the mode switched over.... at which point it merrily set MinSOC back to 10 % !!!
