Re: App currently showing System Offline
The AC1-G2 series is supplied with a Fox WiFi Datalogging Stick for use with the Fox Cloud. LAN and 4G dataloggers are also available as optional add-ons.

According to some sales blurb, it should have one of these.
Have you got a picture of the offending item?

You might be able to schedule a charge on the screen itself, but it will be clunky to say the least.

Ah, just see your new picture.

Will has a video on the setup process, it looks like you may get some information from his video.

Please help.
And if all else fails :D

An older video from Will, so you could at least program a charge.
Re: App currently showing System Offline
That’s what I’ve got. Just a little aerial.
I’ve tried to connect to it via WiFi and it says it’s connected but then isn’t.

Might be worth seeing if you can set a charge on the screen manually for tonight, and deal with the problem tomorrow.

You are welcome, best of luck with programming a charge in.

The reason is because you can't get internet access, but you do get access to the data logger.

However there is nothing you can do while connected to it as a WiFi client.

The app seems to be able to give the data logger WiFi settings, but since it asks for Bluetooth access it probably does it that way.
Re: App currently showing System Offline
Thanks for the reply. So do you think that it will come online in its own. As I had to manually program the inverter to charge last night.

But then it would only charge if the house use was less than 5KW. So once my car finished charging it started charging the batteries.

If you have an 80Amp house supply fuse, then you need to set the Inverter grid Import settings to 80A x 230V = 18400W this is why the system waited for the car to charge up, it didn't think it had enough capacity on your grid.

I hit that bug the other day trying to get the dongle to switch APs, in the end I gave up and figured Fox will fix it at some stage and the current AP will have to do for now.

I have a 100 Amp house fuse.
Can you tell me how to do it on the inverter?

Re: App currently showing System Offline
Update.
Had a call from Fix they are sending me out a dongle as the internal one isn’t getting a strong enough signal.

The other problem they said to go back to installer and they will have to add a Henley block.

I called the installer and they will be in touch.

So at the moment I’m going to have to switch the clamp round the other direction until I get up and the switch it back and have no working app.

I haven’t yet paid the full amount!!! I’m withholding half until it’s sorted.

You will need to set 23000W then, if that is not accepted, then lower it by 1000W until it 'sticks'
Export and Import are next to each other here.
