Meter instead of CT - issues
Hello...

I use an Eastron SDM230-MODBUS-MID V2 meter instead of a normal CT clamp for my KH10.5 inverter. It works well but lately (after recent firmware update maybe?) if there is a grid outage then it comes back, the inverter may not balance current correctly. For example, today, when power was returned, though I was in self-use mode and grid should have been zero, it pulled aproximately the house load from the grid (around 500 watts) and pulled about 300 watts from the battery. It should have been pulling all power from battery.

This was not just a brief time when it got itself back together, no, it lasted about 45 minutes until I noticed what was going on.

There is a solution - going into the inverter's front panel menu settings where you can choose CT or Meter and choose again METER. Note: It did say METER when I went to the page, but it need to be kicked. It's possible if I had clicked the TEST option there, that might have fixed it also, I think I did that the time before when this happened.

My house runs off the EPS output (in UPS mode) in case that matters.

Anyone else with a KH and a meter want to test this scenario? Or just any thoughts on why, if not a bug in firmware?

Thanks.
