Hi all
With the sunny weather I have been making a good lot of power. Once my battery is charged I'm selling the excess back to the grid. But come the 4-7pm period the rates are higher.
So I am force discharging at 2500w to 30%. The idea is that once it hits that level it stops exporting, but I'm finding the battery stops supplying the house and if I put the kettle after it drops to the 30% it draws it from the grid at extortionate rates and not the battery.
What's the secret to discharge to the grid to 30% then use the battery for the house?
Thanks

There was a bit of a thread about this just the other day Tim, viewtopic.php?p=14833#p14833
Short of it, the system stops battery at %SoC you input, and holds it until the time passes. So if you are setting 4pm to 7pm, it starts using grid power
You will have to shorten this time period or look at other control methods (example Home Assistant)

Another thread, CDubbs has made contact with Fox, and they are looking to change the behavior with a FW update (soon hopefully)
