DIP Switch settings ECS2900
Hello everybody,

I added two new slave batteries (ECS2900 V2.0) to my battery system (ECS2900 master + two slave batteries V2.0).
I have read different statements about the DIP switch settings. The first one said adjustment is dependent on number of slaves (for my system setting is "3"), the other one said, setting is always "0", as the BMS automatically recognizes number of slave batteries. What is correct?

Thanks in advance!
Re: DIP Switch settings ECS2900
Both can be true depending on your battery firmware versions, but it has been the case probably at lest for over 2 years that the BMS will autoaddress at startup in which case it will detect the number of slaves fitted. Given that I would imagine it’s very likely as you have V2 batts that you don’t need to set the DIP.
