My install is in the garage which is fed from a switch fuse supply 40A taken from the main incomer with a 100A company fuse. I've realised that my house CU is rated at only 100A, but could see 140A as the garage and main incomer are effectively in parallel. Is is possible to configure the inverter so that using the CT on the incomer it ensures that the total is not more than 100A? (There isnt much space in the meter box for another switch fuse to protect the CU at 100A)
Assuming you’ve got a reasonably new inverter such as an H1 Gen 2, KH, H3 smart etc.. and are running the latest firmware you will have a setting under on-grid, export control that allows you to set ImportLimitPwr and ImportLimitCur, as well as export limits - the default for the current settings is usually 100A
