It would be useful to have the inverter have the option of syncing its time using NTP or SNTP on a time server to keep the time from drifting. Important when handling schedules. Also an option to enable/disable daylight savings depending on meter tariff being aware of daylight savings or not.
I believe it already does it, although when I first had my system the time was drifting (I think Fox's NTP server was unreachable or something). After a while they fixed it and the time on the inverter (KH7, if relevant) has been correct since then.
I did write a crude automation to correct the time myself, twice daily, but ironically that was just before they fixed their NTP server so it was only useful for a few days.

If it does it, there should be an option to configure it somewhere, even if it's just to confirm it's working
