Does anyone know if it's possible to add batteries to an existing 4 battery Mira HV25 set up? My installation is about 3 years old. Are the batteries still available? If so, any recommendations as to reliable suppliers? Is the install plug and play and are there any potential issues?
Many thanks
Dan
Yes, its possible. I managed to add another after a couple of years. I was a little concerned the age difference and SOH of the existing batteries might cause issues but it worked fine. They occasionally pop up used on ebay, but can be bought new. They're still available here:

Before adding the new battery(s) you need to discharge your existing batteries to 50% SOC. Once installed, you will need to discharge to minimum SOC (10%), leave for a while before then charging to full. This should make balancing easier. Don't forget to adjust the dipswitches on the BMS for the new number of batteries.
