MY home wifi is not connectingafter the last update to FOXess
I woke up to find that there was no data on my Foxess screen. After trying to find what was happening I saw that there had been an update. As I thought I knew what to do I got as far as getting the network connection and then that is where I have gone wrong as I set up the connection not realising that the network would take over my home wifi.
I still couldn't connect as it said no internet . I did this on my husbands phone as it was easier to read the bar code with his and now he has no access to our home wifi.
I have looked up on line and followed the forget for the network logged out back in again but still the solar management is there and still I can't even see my home network displayed
I have followed other youtubes showing how to do it but none of the suggestions have worked. I am alright now until October when I will need to switch on my night storage heaters and then will replenish the batteries on economy 7 but I would really like to keep an eye on what is happening. Also I need to get my husbands wifi back on his phone. Luckily he doesn't use it much anyway.
Any ideas of how I can disconnect the management network get my husbands wifi back and actually connect the inverter again?
The suppliers live and operate from Kent and will only come to do anything when they are in the area which is many miles from me.
Any help please

Re: MY home wifi is not connectingafter the last update to FOXess
Hi Sue, I had this problem this morning (no stats showing in the app).

Try:
Updating firmware of inverter and battery via foxess app, if any are available
Then, from your wifi router app, restart your wifi, and if that doesn't work, try releasing/renewing the IP address of the inverter to try to get the router to assign a new IP address to the inverter - this fixed it for me .
Re: MY home wifi is not connectingafter the last update to FOXess
I had this problem today. The short story is that I rebooted both my router and my wifi extender and that sorted it.

The longer story is that I rebooted my router, it connected to a different wifi extender, and worked for a while, I then found that the Octopus mini now wasn’t working, unplugged that and plugged it in again and then the solar was off line again, cried a bit and pulled some hair out, unplugged the Octo mini, rebooted both wifi extenders, plugged in the Octo and now it’s all been working for roughly 30 minutes and I’m opening a bottle of wine.
