KH10 MPP tracking settings?
Hi

I recently moved my panels over from a Sungrow SG10RS inverter to my FoxESS KH10, to DC couple and add an extra string of panels. However, I'm wondering if the MPP tracking doesn't seem to be as effective with my panels on the KH10. I have some shading problems, and my SG10RS seemed pretty effective at dropping voltage and cutting out shaded panels when that yielded more power. I have only limited data so far, but suspect the KH10 is yielding less power.

Are there any settings related to MPP tracking to tweak? Such as time intervals for scanning? When I asked AI I got conflicting answers about whether the global scanning was automatic or may need to be enabled.

Also, should the algorithms be pretty similar between the SG10RS and KH10?

Thanks!
Re: KH10 MPP tracking settings?
The only control of the MPPT’s in settings is to set them to parallel or independent operation - the vast majority of people (and from your description, yours) is that they should be set to independent.

I don’t have any information with regards the tracker effectiveness between brands (that would be very useful), but anecdotally most people replacing inverters comment how much better it is over the previous system.
