I have a fully populated older style AIO, with 4 HV2600s. Is it possible to add further external HC2600s to take me to the '7' units that the BMS can handle or is the AIO HV BMS a special?

The AIO is a special and only allows 4 batteries to be fitted - I know that some people have done special wiring configurations outside of the box and managed to get a couple more HV2600's running but it's not supported by Fox and would invalidate your warranty.

I appreciate the warranty issue. However is there something special about the HV BMS in the AIO or is it just a standard HV BMS that can control up to 7/8 2600s? The only wiring that would be needed would be a slightly extended set of + & - cables between the first and last battery and a longer RS485 comms cable for the same, these rest of the cables would be the out of the box ones.
I appreciate I could dump the AIO and get an H1 Hybrid and a BMS, and create a normal stack, but that would be less fun!
