Recently had Fox system installed, just looking at EPS options. When the inverter is in EPS mode following a power cut, is the EPS output just from the battery or also from the solar panels? Will the battery still charge from the panels during a power cut?
Cheers
Jon
EPS - Solar or just battery
As far as I'm aware, if you have a power cut during the day your EPS will run off PV or batteries. Obviously this is more useful in June than February! Effectively the system transfers to an "off grid" mode of operation so again as far as I know, your panels would charge your batteries if surplus power available.
I'm exploring the possibility of doing EPS for our house at the moment so I'll update if I find out anything else.

If EPS is enabled in settings it should provide power when the grid fails through the EPS socket (assuming you have batteries), but some early H1 inverters were not fitted with EPS - are you sure your inverter has the EPS components?Asensio18 wrote: Tue Apr 29, 2025 7:19 am Yo activo todos los apartados Eps y no logro sacar energía por la salida de backup cuando se me va la red eléctrica
