CT Clamp for PV monitoring
Hi all,

I have an AC1 inverter installed, with EP11 battery to compliment my existing solar PV system that was installed under the old FiT scheme.

My installer only installed 1 CT clamp to the load of the house at the meter into pins 7 & 8. However, I have read that by connecting a second CT clamp to pins 5 & 6 of the inverter I can also enable the inverter to monitor the PV.

However, my existing PV array is made of 2 strings with an inverter on each. So I have 2 feeds into my CU from the solar. I suspect the CT clamp would only monitor one. Is there any easy way I could get this to work?

Thanks,

Steve

Re: CT Clamp for PV monitoring
Correct, you would need your two string inverters to feed into one CU and then you can attach the ct2 to the ac output of that cu into your home supply. It will then show the generation as Gen on the fox app power flow graph and will report under the meter2 data value for reporting.
