Hi,
I have a Fox AC1 battery inverter. I want to integrate it with Home Assistant rather than the Fox wifi dongle. To do this using up the mod bus pins and an Elfin W11 Wi-Fi device.
There’s no mains socked close to the inverter so for the time being I’m powering the Elfin from a power adapter and extension cable.
The Elfin would make the wifi dongle redundant so I’m thinking off hijacking the 5V from the USB to power the Elfin.
To maintain the IP rating I’d like the same type of connector the dongle uses but there is no branding I can see. It doesn’t seem to be from the industrial manufactures I’m aware of (Amphenol, Bulgin, TE).
Does anyone know the brand of connector? So that I can order a wireable equivalent?
I would run the network cable from the inverter to an indoor or IP rated box with mains power. I wouldn't run it off the USB port.
