40257-Parameter does not meet expectations. Cannot use Mode Scheduler

Hi

I have successfully used Mode Scheduler in the past.

However, for the past month or so I have failed in all attempts to use Mode Scheduler, either on the FoxCloud2.0 app, Energy Stats app or on the foxesscloud.com interface. Whatever work mode, schedule or parameters I enter (I have tried all possibilities and permutations), the return is just the same "40257 - Parameter does not meet expectations".

One schedule always persists, I try to delete it in all the above applications, but I can never make it go away to start afresh. Whatever I try to do, up comes that error message again.

I see from this community history that some users had this error message in 2023 and had it solved with a version update.
However I am on Inverter Hardware Version : Master : 1.31 Slave : 1.02 Manager : 1.48

Is this a job for my installer to delete the "undeletable" schedule, or something I have to take directly to Foxess?

If you ignore the schedule that you can't delete and add another does that work?, or are any changes to schedules always returning 40257.

Also just to check you have not used the agile integration, I have heard that that when disabled it leaves an entry in schedules that cannot be deleted but you can 'disable' it and ignore it going forwards.

Another thing to test, leave all the apps etc.. for over 3 hours - then go to the website and try to delete the entry in the schedule.

Yes I tried adding schedules but anything and everything I do returns 40257 regardless.

No Octopus integration at all.

Good call regarding the apps, everything closed for now. Going forward I will try again with only the foxess web interface.

If that doesn't clear it I'll contact FoxESS help and report back for the benefit of future users in this forum

Here's my update - within 24 hours of my email to FoxESS (service.uk@fox-ess.com) everything was fixed.

All my firmware was updated (see below), two new working Modes created in Mode Scheduler and I'm good to go.

Great job by FoxESS support.

As of 3 June, here are my latest firmware version numbers:
Inverter: Manager 1.52, Slave 1.02, Master 1.35
Batteries: all four bmu 1.14, bcu 2.004, ivu 1.00

...plus a gentle reminder that mode scheduler and charging time can't be enabled at the same time (which I knew, of course, but in the spirit of trying everything over the past month who knows if I got things out of whack?)

Hope this helps anyone else who hits this problem.
